Located 2.5 hrs from LAX (LA’s International Airport) to the Eastern border with Arizona, Joshua Tree National Park comprises of two deserts; The Mojave and Colorado Deserts, as well as the San Bernardino Mountains and is dotted with the weirdest looking trees, Joshua Trees.
Joshua Trees are part of the Agave family (a species which create tequila!) and grows mostly in the Mojave Desert section and live to an average of 150 years.
