My name is India Parish.

I am from Melbourne, Australia and have an unquenchable thirst to explore new cities and cultures. With a name like India, perhaps I was destined to seek the far corners of the earth.
After finishing school in 2006, I saved up and headed out of Australia for the first time, landing in London to begin a six month backpacking adventure around Europe.
The moment I stepped off the plane in Heathrow I was hooked. The nomadic life was for me, with my bulging backpack, a blank journal and a camera in hand, I could wander as far as I chose. The sense of freedom became an addiction and an expensive one at that.
Trips to and from Australia to far-flung corners of the world saw my bank account dwindle and I soon sought a life that paid me to travel. In 2011 I began working aboard private Superyachts which cruise the Mediterranean in Summer and the Caribbean and USA in the winter. The billionaires of the world need staff while they travel the world you know!
I spent six years working on beautiful Superyachts cruising the world. I was able to spend my time-off travelling and cultivating my photography and writing skills. Whilst on the road, I earned my diploma of Journalism from the London School of Journalism via correspondence. I have also been fortunate to work with several travel companies as a freelance blogger.
I have visited four of the seven continents and left footprints and friends in 60+ countries. Ten years after my first overseas adventure, I have decided to create my own photography space to share the images I have collected over the years.
You set the limits of what you can do. You decide what you are capable of. Dream it, begin it.
I hope to see you one day in this fascinating world.
Always say yes to adventure!
